IDENTITY NOTICE · BIL-IDENTITY-2026-10-03.1

Your private review.

Before It Lands LLC operates this account review. A human owner reviewer checks identity, age, residence, citizenship, sanctions and account exclusions before Bitcoin access. This notice describes the implemented manual review process.

What you submit

You provide a government ID image, a selfie holding the exact handwritten case code, your declared residence and citizenship countries, and supporting residence evidence when required. Use clear JPEG, PNG or WebP images. Do not upload payment-card information, wallet recovery phrases, passwords or unrelated documents.

How the evidence is protected

Your browser resizes and re-encodes supported images as JPEG to remove image metadata, then encrypts the evidence before upload. The hosted service stores ciphertext and the encrypted evidence key. The owner opens documents in the local review app using a private review key protected on the owner computer. Account identifiers, case status and review records are separate from encrypted image evidence.

Review and deletion

Submitting a packet does not approve an account. Evidence remains encrypted while the case is pending. When the reviewer approves, rejects or revokes a case, the service removes that case’s ciphertext chunks and wrapped evidence key in the same database transaction as the recorded decision. A retry does not restore those bytes. The owner can hide local document previews; a preview already opened on an owner computer cannot be erased remotely by this service.

The service retains the account and case identifiers, consent notice version, evidence hash, decision, reviewer/source reference, verification flags, reviewed countries, review date and expiry, plus audit records. These support account restrictions, review history and financial reconciliation. This process does not claim immediate deletion from historical infrastructure backups or an automatic deletion of financial records.

What a clearance means

The reviewer must actually inspect the submitted documents and record the review checks. This process does not claim automated liveness, forgery detection or automated sanctions screening. Routine clearance expires after five calendar years, or sooner at the reviewed document’s expiry. Earlier revocation, an investigation or changed account information can require another review. Password, authenticator, withdrawal-email and payment checks remain separate.

Questions and requests

Use the secure account privacy request page to request access, correction, evidence deletion or help with a review. The request is tied to your signed-in account and appears in the owner’s private control app. You can see its status on the same page. Do not send more identity documents through that request page. A request is a contact channel; it does not automatically approve an account, delete a ledger or change a balance.

Consent to this notice applies to the encrypted evidence submission described above. You can leave the form without submitting. If you have already submitted, use the privacy request page to contact the reviewer about the pending evidence.
